I think I’ve said this before but I don’t think it has to be aliens to fool us.

And a majority NPC population is probably a prerequisite to found the complex civilizations.

If I may, here follows a few ’round the houses’ points which the Fake News deliberately ignores, for the purpose of creating/sustaining public alarm:
It’s not possible for Earth to shed its excess heat to the space sink by conduction or convection.
The only way our excess heat gets us to dynamic thermal equilibrium is by radiation.
CO2 is a radiative gas..
Ergo, CO2, and all other radiative components of the atmosphere(hich are coolants.

If highly-paid, perma-grinning, TV professors could refresh themselves on Th101, it would be enormously helpful. If they went on to explain to the public the differences between energy, temperature and heat, that would be even more beneficial.

I did UK (Norn Iron) A-Level Physics in 1974. To my recollection, there were then only 3 LoTD. The 4th one snuck in to confer T as a physical quantity in its own universal right (the Zeroth Law).
To summarise, in every day parlance, and to help out any arty-farty libtard friends, please consider understanding the Laws of Thermodynamics thusly:
Syetemes Internioatle definition of T as a physical quantity
You can never win. You could, at best, break even.
You could only break even if you could get to Absolute Zero.
It is not currently possible to get to Absolute Zero (-273.16K). At, or near this, all molecular motion ceases. There must also be a profound on time, as experienced.

The “Elite” want to wipe out humanity, reduce the future generation to slaves, fully intending on being the ruler race over them. This theme has been a culmination from generation to generation. Clearly, whatever it is, the premise is not human and that premise has every intention of being the ruler not them. However you want to describe it, this Evil exists and has for millenniums.
