Fermi’s Paradox is a real problem in frontier astrophysics and astrobiology, the paradox being that there should be abundant advanced alien life, but this is not observed. Resolutions include the concept of the Great Filter, where some inevitable combination of parameters guarantees that scientifically technologically capable species always either wipes them out, or makes them otherwise silent. Under the “silent” scenario is included the Dark Forest theory, where species do survive, but they realize that they need to stay silent or risk being wiped out by a rival who discovers them, with a corollary being that if you discover another species, you must silently wipe them out first before they openly discover you.

I hypothesise that we are in a Dark Forest Encounter and our guests do intend to wipe us out using our own “science” against us.

The flat Earthers who we are all familiar with I propose are part of this plot, as we have all agreed in the characterisation of them that their goal is not the attainment of plausible alternative theories, but the inability to attain certain knowledge at all. Their modus operandi seems to be the destruction of knowledge and the prevention of its attainment. It would follow that there are certain areas of science they especially would not want us to know about, in order to protect themselves from exploitable scientific knowledge which if we attained would threaten them the most, or, at least, scientific knowledge which benefits our survival the most.

Let’s list the main things they rail against. They don’t want us to understand or know about:

-relativistic effects like length contraction
-gravity
-gas pressure
-existence of space
-motion and vector addition of motion
-shape of the Earth
-mutual exclusivity and the absolute consequences of its logic
-predictability and repeatability
-optical measurements
-space travel

And at the same time, they actively work to associate this anti-knowledge modus operandi with other aspects of modern society which, we will assume here, are plausible questions or social concerns which may have legitimate scientific or social founding:

-the collective demographic interests of European or White civilization
-the possible dangers of vaccines
-the possible dangers of a compromised food supply
-the possibility and reality of various corruptions in government
-the possibility of legitimate revisionist historical perspectives regarding World War Two

Finally, of all the things this movement is willing to question, they seem to eschew discussion of the popular, well-known, and plausibly legitimate criticisms of climate change theory, and the global banking system.

Given this platform, what else can we identify, extrapolate, or propose about any other motives they may have? Is there anything specific that we can conclude about their nature, about who may support them, about who they may work for? Is there anything we can extrapolate that they are specifically trying to distract from, or cover up?

For example, the most immediate proposition would be that our Dark Forest guests are those who own the global banking system and these are who are behind the climate change alarm movement for the purpose of getting us to trigger our own Great Filter through runaway geoengineering which blocks the solar beam and removes CO2, and they need to destroy our scientific knowledge and attainment of knowledge in order to conclude these plans.

But is there anything else which we can pull out of this?
